Week 4 Continued In class, we worked on finally cutting out all the pieces for both the shelves and bench as well as sanding them all and assembling them. I mainly helped out with the sanding and fitting of the bench and a little bit of the assembly for the bookshelf. I also did a lot of documentation for everyone in the group, so here are all the images I took while we worked on our project. Some sanded pieces for the bench and shelves: The glueing stage of the bench: The assembly of the shelf: The final assembly and glueing of the bench: I'm glad our group at the very least managed to fully complete our bench mainly because I was in the small sub-group with both Nadia and Erica for the design of the bench so being able to see that piece fully completed was the most satisfying for me for the end of this project.

Week 4 Our team went into the woodshop to get more pieces of the bench and shelf cut out with the CNC machine where we managed to cut the pieces of the bench as well as 1/3 of the shelves for the shelf design completed. Liro, Yuxin and I worked together in order to get all the bench pieces sanded whereas Chloe, Nadia and Daniela worked on properly printing everything through the CNC machine. Chloe, Nadia and Daniela had to slightly tweak the flat design for the CNC machine by creating a 1mm offset so that all the interlocking pieces could actually fit together, and they were able to successfully fix that during that work period! Here are some images I took while we were working:
