 Week 4 Our team went into the woodshop to get more pieces of the bench and shelf cut out with the CNC machine where we managed to cut the pieces of the bench as well as 1/3 of the shelves for the shelf design completed. Liro, Yuxin and I worked together in order to get all the bench pieces sanded whereas Chloe, Nadia and Daniela worked on properly printing everything through the CNC machine. Chloe, Nadia and Daniela had to slightly tweak the flat design for the CNC machine by creating a 1mm offset so that all the interlocking pieces could actually fit together, and they were able to successfully fix that during that work period!  OBDF 310A My First Definition  I followed the tutorials just like they were taught and had no idea what I was honestly planning to do for this first blog post.  After finishing all of the tutorials I ended up with this: Then I chose to experiment more specifically with colours on the lofts and also created an even larger object. Which eventually led to this: Grasshopper is quite easy to learn if you test stuff out and learn as you go, even while working on this specific object I was still struggling to be able to set a specific colour to one side of the loft while making the other side a different one. But in the end, I was able to figure it out on my third attempt and was able to create a nice transition on the last two lofts.

 Outsourced Wearable Object: Concept Selection and Proof Sheet Nov 14, 2020 Based on the feedback I got from people during the speed dating exercise I was told to merge 11 and 21, look into silver etching and maybe even create multiple different versions of 21 for all five fingers. The three different concepts I chose to go forward with were 15, 19, and 21. Although the feedback wanted lots of people to merge 21 and 11 I wasn't sure exactly how to start off making them in rhino, so I chose to start off with some concepts I can try to experiment with first. Here is my proof sheet: I forgot to document my process but most of it was just pure experimentation at this point and a lot of headaches.
